Anyway.

This is my application form for :HalloweenAcademy:, I applied last time but I decided to up the anty and create someone new for HA. Still applying as an artist, not a writer.

Name: Riia Zaund (Her first name means Chaos so she sometimes goes by that, and her last name means Children of the Spider's Kiss, hence the web work on her outfit)

Age: 17 (only just recently turned 17)

Sex: Female, clearly, unless the anatomy I know is sorely wrong *looks down top* Dear lord I hope not.

Height: 157cm (yea, she's more towards the short side I'm afraid)

Weight: 47kg

Species: Baku, a japanese dream demon. Look it up if you want to see how I got my design for her. ^^

Talents: She's always been highly creative, which for a dream weaver is usually a good thing, though for Riia it also means that she designs and creates her own clothes, jewelry, along with art work, sculptures, poetry, ect, ect. If it isn't creative, chances are Riia's not all that interested in it. Throw in a bit of paint or glitter and she'll give 110% ^^ Being good with art has also left her with quite the aim.
She's also quite swift, agile, elegant and surprisingly strong, thanks to the animal/demon side to her. Usually for a demon this would make them deadly, but alas, Riia doesn't find killing all that creative, so she dances. She doesn't really have a style, she just dances. Pretty well, so long as she has music to guide her. Now speaking of music, being a dream demon she inherited a little tallent from her mother, she can sing and use her voice, the melody and/or the lyrics to effect and alter how others are acting and/or thinking. She doesn't tend to use this trick, unless someone has upset her or her close ones, because she feels it is wrong to make people do things they usually wouldn't, even if she's only affecting their moods so in truth, what ever actions they take are their own.

Quote: "Let me sing you a lullaby..." is Riia's quote. When she is upset with someone, believing they have done wrong, she will whisper into their ear her quote before singing softly to them and trapping them in a nightmare for hours on end.

History/Background/Reason for wanting to come to HA: Riia is an only child, which usually is great! But Riia was, more or less, somewhat considered as a disgrace to her family. For one, she was the first born, and female, two, she's not exactly blood or soul thirsty, and she has no true want to harm others, and finally, she's not too good at creating long nightmares, she's more of a dream person, well, demon. To top it off, she gained not only the blood trait of her mother, but of her father; Riia has the ability to, if she so chooses, to bring her woven dreams into reality, not just as illusions, but as true creations. Now, for most demons this in itself is quite difficult, but for Riia? She faints when trying to even create a simple rose or butterfly, which naturally meant she didn't use her talent, which is considered something not to be done in her family.
Two years ago her family kicked her out of her home, right after her little brother turned five, and they told her she was disowned and not to come back until she was a true dream demon. In her search to find a way to learn and to become better, she stumbled across an application form for HalloweenAcademy. Riia believes that this could be her last chance in finding a place where she will learn tips, tricks and hopefully become a 'true demon' in order to go home to see her little brother.

Personality: Riia generally has quite the bubbley, happy-go-lucky, everything will be alright type of personality. She's always looking for that silver lining on the storm cloud. Well. Nearly always. There are a few things that will cause her to openly show her fear, pain or rage, but very few. For the most part she practices disipline by never showing her true emotions, only the charming, beautiful, loving smile of a mask. It's not always a mask, how ever, as Riia herself loves to help others. She's also very loyal. If she believes that you are someone she can trust or that she should protect, then till the end of your lives (or until you do something so utterly disgusting and disgraceful even she will turn her back on you) she will stand readily by your side, throwing her all in to protect and defend you. She can be quite,... Naive at times, how ever, and is not all that inteligent or 'clued on' to certain...things.... if you catch my drift.
